5 Predictions For The 2015 MLB Season – AL Central

1) Detroit Tigers

It will be difficult for anyone in this division to knock out the defending champion Tigers, who come back in 2015 with a solid team to surround perennial MVP candidate Miguel Cabrera and Cy Young contenders David Price and Justin Verlander.  The addition of LF Yoenis Cespedes provides some bulk in the middle of the lineup, along with DH Victor Martinez, coming off the best season of his career.  Ian Kinsler provides some pop and some needed speed at the top of the lineup.  If the Tigers can find some consistency in the No. 2 spot in the order, they’re going to be tough to deal with.  With the departure of Max Scherzer to free agency, the Tigers’ rotation isn’t as ferocious, but if Verlander rallies (he had a down 2014) and Anibal Sanchez regain his form, they’ll be in business.  Especially if Alfredo Simon, who had…
